Kevin Roberts, Executive Chef

Partner

Kevin Roberts’ knack for creativity and healthy eating in the kitchen can be seen, heard, and of course tasted. Growing up in kitchens and focusing his college studies on Health, Nutrition and Kinesiology, Kevin knows cooking from the inside out.

Kevin was also a Top Ten Finalist on The Next Food Network Star, In addition, Roberts is the owner and Executive Chef at San Diego’s award-winning East Village Tavern & Bowl, one of the city’s hottest new downtown urban sports bar.

Raised by a single-mother who worked in restaurants in Los Angeles, Kevin Roberts was in the restaurant business at a very young age. With a lot of trial & error and with the help of his mom and nana, he taught himself to cook at the age of 8 as an act of “self-preservation.” To quote Roberts, “It was either cook or starve…”

I love this Cave Cafe! Had a Bison burger with bacon and. Caramelized onions on super greens with sweet potato fries and prickly pear Kombucha. This is my kind of place! In Sedona

If you’re ever in Sedona, AZ, go to Cafe Paleo Brio. It’s incredible! I got over easy eggs cooked in avocado oil, sweet potato hash, nitrate-free bacon, and a mountain man brat (mix of elk, venison, caribou and bison). The brat was my favorite part of the meal, but it was all so good!

Excellent food and fun atmosphere. My Husband and I have been eating keto with paleo values for over two years. This restaurant is a rare find, it was exciting to enjoy a meal out that did not require omitting half the plate or ordering everything a-la-carte. SO good.

First time eating here and found it by accident. We are picky where we eat and like good service and healthy food. We loved it , service was great ! Friendly and the British young man was so welcoming and helpful. Food was great! It was a little expensive but they don’t cut corners and we found the food to be excellent quality. I will highly recommend to my health conscious groups too.

Paleo Brio is one of the coolest restaurants I’ve ever come across while also serving evolved dietary needs such as gluten- and dairy- free, harm-free and naturally fed / raised meat. The owner, also a talented photographer of world sites and East Coast transplant, is looking to host the best artists on the planet and license the streaming while charging locals bargain prices for the live incredible show. The interior was contracted to Hopi natives and is very unique. The menu and ingredient sourcing, as well as host and vibes of fellow guests, are impeccable.
